Message from Cengage Learning

So flat the world is!!!!!!!!!!!

...........

Cengage Learning has immediately begun an investigation into the allegedly infringing activities of "Mr. X".

Cengage Learning does not tolerate the misappropriation of its textbook material and aggressively pursues those who infringe its intellectual property rights. This includes not only taking legal action to enforce its copyrights rights when it makes sense to do so but also includes working closely with organizations such as the Association of American Publishers (AAP) and calling upon local law enforcement authorities in foreign countries.

Copyright laws are designed to protect authors and publishers from the unauthorized misappropriation of their works. Such laws gives the copyright holders certain exclusive rights, including the right to reproduce their works or authorize others to do so, to distribute copies by sale, to prepare derivative works. To ignore or to encourage others to ignore these laws devalues the intellectual work and effort put into copyrighted material by its authors.
